INDIANA INVADERS' SHUNK COMPETES ON US NATIONAL TEAM

(INDIANAPOLIS) Indiana Invaders' Adam Shunk competed on the US National
Team in the inaugural DecaNation at Charlety Stadium in Paris, France
on September 3, 2005. DecaNation featured an eight-team competition of
national teams from the United States, Russia, France, China, Great Britain, Spain, Poland and Italy. 8 nations, 10 events.
Shunk represented the US National Team in the high jump and tied for
fifth with a clearance of 2.15 meters. The US Team finished fourth in
the standings with 103 points. Russia won with 127 points followed by
France and Poland with 120 and 110 points, respectively.
This eight nation team event challenge featured national all-stars in
head-to-head team scored competition.
Invaders' Director Greg Harger said, "Shunk's opportunity to compete in
this international competition was a great experience."
