Greenways & Eagle Creek Park

Eagle Creek Park   Eagle Creek Park
Eagle Creek is the fourth largest city-owned park in the United States. The park encompasses 1,400 acres of water and over 3,900 acres of dry land. The park is only 15 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. Heavily wooded rolling hills with well maintained trails make for great running.
  Greenways
Indy Parks Greenways operates and maintains miles of greenway trails, miles of blueways and variety of conservation corridors.  The Greenways system encompasses streams, old railroad and utility corridors, and historic locations, like the 1836 Canal Tow Path, and will eventually contain more than 150 miles of interconnected trails throughout Marion County. The Indiana Invaders currently train on more than 60 kilometers of soft-surfaced trails in the Greenway system.
